Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Istanbul & Free Day

Arrive in Istanbul and meet your greeter at the airport. Transfer to your hotel with your private vehicle. On the way, you will get some instruction about your tour by the agency representative. The day is free to get relax. It could be a good idea to enjoy a glass of Turkish tea and some baklava which will be a sweet start for your trip. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2

Byzantine and Ottoman Relics

This day is dedicated to discovering Old Istanbul’s marvels, from Byzantine to late Ottoman times. After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel and join the tour group. First visit is to Sultan Ahmet (Blue) Mosque, which is famous with its unmatched blue tiles. Then take walk through Hippodrome of Constantinople, once the sporting and social center of Constantinople. Reach breath-taking Hagia Sophia Museum, the culmination of Byzantine architecture. Then proceed to Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered bazaar in the World. Have lunch with a beautiful view of Bosphorus at a roof top. In the afternoon, get on the bus and visit Rustem Pasha Mosque, which is famous for its large quantities of exquisite Iznik tiles. Finally visit Topkapi Palace, where Ottoman sultans ruled the vast empire for more than 400 years. After the tour, a bus will drop you near your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3

Morning Bosphorus Cruise & Flight to Cappadocia

Today you will enjoy a half day cruise on the amazing Bosphorus, the straight between the Black Sea and the Mediterranean. Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and join the tour group. Before embarkation on the boat, visit the Spice Market, the center of spice trade for hundreds of years between the East and the West. You can make some spice, dried fruit, seeds and lokum shopping. Then, embark on a tour boat for a short voyage on the Bosphorus. You will see on the both sides of the strait old Ottoman palaces, citadels, centuries-old mansions and old and new faces of Istanbul. After the tour, your will be dropped at your hotel. In the late afternoon, your will be transferred to airport. Fly to Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 4

Fairy Chimneys of Cappadocia

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide at the lobby and join the tour group. The volcanic soil and the climate has made Cappadocia’s landscape unique and today you will discover these fantastic lands with your expert guide. Start your visits with Devrent Valley and Monks Valley (Pasabagi); see some of the most striking fairy chimneys in Cappadocia with twin and even triple rock caps. Proceed to Avanos, well-known pottery town of Anatolia. Before having lunch, you will enjoy a pottery lesson by a local craftsman. After lunch, continue to the Goreme Open-Air Museum. It contains the finest of the rock-cut churches, with beautiful frescoes (wall paintings) whose colors still retain all their original freshness. Finally visit Uchisar Town which is famous with its huge rock-cut castle and wonderful view of Pigeons Valley. After the tour, return to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 5

Underground Cities of Cappadocia & Flight to Antalya

Have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide at the lobby and join the tour group. Start your tour with an easy hike in Rose Valley, where you will see some churches dig in rocks, cave house and tunnels. On the way to underground cities, give a short visit to Cavusin, an abandoned village which was once used by Christians. After having lunch, discover one of the most amazing man-made construction of the World; Kaymakli Underground City. This city, like the others, was dig by the early Christians who hidden from pagan Romans. After the tour return to your hotel and take your luggage. Transfer to airport and fly to Antalya. Overnight in Antalya.

Day 6

Myra & St. Nicholas & Boat Trip to Kekova Island

Today you will enjoy a day between pine forests and crystal waters of Mediterranean. Early pick-up from your hotel and drive to Demre, which is called Myra in the Bible. In Demre, visit the Church of St. Nicholas and rock tombs of Roman and Hellenic times. After having lunch, embark on a tour boat to discover the sunken city of Kekova. During the boat trip, you will see Ucagiz, Simena, Burc Bay and Pirates’ Cave. You can also enjoy swimming in this crystal-clear water so you should bring a swim-suit! After the tour, drive back to Antalya along the coastline. Arrive in Antalya in the late evening. Overnight in Antalya.

Day 7

Antalya-Marmaris by Bus

Have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and transfer to bus terminal. Take an inter-city coach to Marmaris. Arrive in Marmaris and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Marmaris.

** Bus is around 10:00-17:00.

Day 8

Free Day in Marmaris

The whole day is free. You can enjoy your day by swimming and relaxing in crystal waters of Turkish Riviera. Overnight in Marmaris.

Day 9

Marmaris-Pamukkale by Bus & Cotton Castles of Hierapolis

Early transfer to bus terminal. Take an inter-city coach to Denizli. Meet your guide at the bus terminal and join the tour group. After having lunch, start to discover amazing Pamukkale, which houses one of the most important cities of Roman Empire: Hierapolis, The Sacred City. It is believed that Phillip moved to Hierapolis and have been martyred here. After the tour, you can enjoy swimming in the hot springs of Cleopatra Pool and walking on the white terraces of Cotton Castle (Pamukkale). In the late afternoon, drive to Kusadasi. Overnight in Kusadasi.

** Tour is around 12:00-19:00.

Day 10

House of Virgin Mary & Ephesus Antique City

Enjoy your leisurely breakfast the hotel. Meet your guide at the lobby and join the tour group. Today first visit is to House of Virgin Mary on the top of Mount Nightingale. Mary is believed to spend her last years in this house, so this house is an important pilgrimage point for the Christians. After having lunch, proceed to Ephesus Antique City, one of the largest cities in the ancient world. See the ruins of Artemis Temple, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Library of Celcus, the Odeon, the Temple of Hadrian, the Temple of Domitian, the Theater, believed to be the largest outdoor theater in the ancient world, and some other ruins. After the tour, return to your hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 11

Flight to Istanbul & End of Tour

Pick-up in your hotel and transfer to airport. Fly back to Istanbul to get your departure flight back home. End of your services.
