Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Istanbul

Arrive in Istanbul and meet your greeter at the airport. Transfer to your hotel with your private vehicle. On the way, you will get some instruction about your tour by the agency representative. The day is free to get relax. In the evening you may want to watch the ceremony of the whirling dervishes which will be a good start for your trip. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2

Byzantine and Ottoman Relics

This day is dedicated to discovering Old Istanbul’s marvels, from Byzantine to late Ottoman times. After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel and join the tour group. First visit is to Sultan Ahmet (Blue) Mosque, which is famous with its unmatched blue tiles. Then take walk through Hippodrome of Constantinople, once the sporting and social center of Constantinople. Reach breath-taking Hagia Sophia Museum, the culmination of Byzantine architecture. Then proceed to Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered bazaar in the World. Have lunch with a beautiful view of Bosphorus at a roof top. In the afternoon, get on the bus and visit Rustem Pasha Mosque, which is famous for its large quantities of exquisite Iznik tiles. Finally visit Topkapi Palace, where Ottoman sultans ruled the vast empire for more than 400 years. After the tour, a bus will drop you near your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3

Morning Bosphorus Cruise & Flight to Cappadocia

Today you will enjoy a half day cruise on the amazing Bosphorus, the straight between the Black Sea and the Mediterranean. Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and join the tour group. Before embarkation on the boat, visit the Spice Market, the center of spice trade for hundreds of years between the East and the West. You can make some spice, dried fruit, seeds and lokum shopping. Then, embark on a tour boat for a short voyage on the Bosphorus. You will see on the both sides of the strait old Ottoman palaces, citadels, centuries-old mansions and old and new faces of Istanbul. After the tour, your will be dropped at your hotel. In the late afternoon, your will be transferred to airport. Fly to Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 4

Fairy Chimneys of Cappadocia

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide at the lobby and join the tour group. The volcanic soil and the climate has made Cappadocia’s landscape unique and today you will discover these fantastic lands with your expert guide. Start your visits with Devrent Valley and Monks Valley (Pasabagi); see some of the most striking fairy chimneys in Cappadocia with twin and even triple rock caps. Proceed to Avanos, well-known pottery town of Anatolia. Before having lunch, you will enjoy a pottery lesson by a local craftsman. After lunch, continue to the Goreme Open-Air Museum. It contains the finest of the rock-cut churches, with beautiful frescoes (wall paintings) whose colors still retain all their original freshness. Finally visit Uchisar Town which is famous with its huge rock-cut castle and wonderful view of Pigeons Valley. After the tour, return to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 5

Flight to Izmir & Afternoon Ephesus Antique City

Pick-up in your hotel and tranfser to airport. Fly to Izmir with an early flight. Meet your driver at the exit gate and transfer to Town of Selcuk where you will join the tour group. First have lunch. Then visit Ephesus Antique City, one of the largest cities in the ancient world. See the ruins of Artemis Temple, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Library of Celcus, the Odeon, the Temple of Hadrian, the Temple of Domitian, the Theater, believed to be the largest outdoor theater in the ancient world, and some other ruins. After the tour, the bus will drop you at the hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.

* Flight to Izmir is around 07:30-09:00.
** Lunch included. (The hotel in Cappadocia may prepare a breakfast box for you upon your demand.)
*** Tour is around 11:00-17:00.

Day 6

Pamukkale & Cotton Castles of Hierapolis

Today you will travel through fertile plains of Aydin and Denizli to reach Pamukkale, which houses one of the most important cities of Roman Empire: Hierapolis, The Sacred City. It is believed that Phillip moved to Hierapolis and have been martyred here. After the tour, you can enjoy swimming in the hot springs of Cleopatra Pool and walking on the white terraces of Cotton Castle (Pamukkale). In the late evening, return to your hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 7

Pergamon Antique City

Have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide at the lobby and join the tour group. Depart for Pergamon Antique City, one of the Seven Churches addressed in Revelation. Pilgrims from all over the Mediterranean region would flock to the city to engage in commerce or to visit the famous Asclepion, a center of medical treatments. After the tour proceed to Canakkale, the city founded along Dardanelles. Overnight in Canakkale.

Day 8

Troy Antique City & Gallipoli Battlefields

Have your breakfast at the hotel and meet your guide at the lobby. Today first visit is to Troy Antique City where the epic Trojan War took place according to the Iliad by Homer. Then proceed to the North and cross the Dardanelles by a ferry. Visit Gallipoli battle fields, where the famous Gallipoli Campaign took place during the World War I. After the visit, drive to Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 9

Transfer to Airport & End of Tour

Pick-up in your hotel and transfer to airport according to your departure flight time. End of your services.
